Simon Cruwys
Simon began dancing in 1974, he soon became hooked, attending competitions locally and then throughout the UK.
As an enthusiastic amateur competitor he travelled around Europe representing countries including England, Scotland, Wales and Finland, depending on his dance partner at the time.

In 1995, dancing with his sister and co Principal of Dance Crazy Heidi, Simon turned professional. He achieved the accolade of winning the Closed UK Ballroom Championships the following year.
Teaching became the next big step in his life, followed by work for the Imperial Society (ISTD) first as a Latin Faculty member and then as an examiner.

The role of competitor, teacher and examiner has given Simon great opportunities, which he is both thankful for and proud of. His work has involved travelling to India, China, Malaysia, the Caribbean, Russia, South Africa and most countries of Europe and Scandinavia.

Today as an ISTD Fellow & Examiner, Simon continues to be enthusiastic towards training dancers of all ages, creating confidence and skill in all subjects chosen.
